If you want to venture out of South Boston:

  • The Franklin Park Zoo is about a 15-20 minute drive and in addition to seeing the animals, they have a great outdoor playground and large grass area. Their annual membership is very reasonable starting at $125/year for unlimited access. Learn more here!
