Interested in joining our club?
We look forward to meeting you at our next event, playgroup, or meeting! You must be a South Boston, MA resident (02127 and 02210 zip codes) to join our chapter. Dues are $30 per year, and 70% of your dues are allocated directly to service projects, local families in need, and non-profits that are doing mission-driven work that directly correlates to our club’s mission.
To join, please click "Log In/Sign Up" in the upper right-hand corner of this page and we will review your account request. It will be reviewed and approved within a week if you are a South Boston resident and mother or expecting mother. Once you are approved you will be sent an invoice for your annual dues.

If you have additional questions before joining, please email us at hello@southbostonmomsclub.org and someone will be in touch. Additionally, if you would like to join our club but have financial concerns about membership dues, please email us so we can accommodate you.
So you've joined the club! Now what?
You will receive a notification if your membership was approved and receive an invoice to pay dues. What's next?!
1. Pay your annual dues via the invoice sent after your membership was approved.
2. Make sure your profile is up to date with as much information as you're comfortable sharing. This makes it easy to connect with other moms. Once you have paid your invoice, we will approve you as a club member and you'll be able to log into the website and be accepted into the Facebook group. This could take a few business days as the club is 100% volunteer-run.

4. Follow us on Instagram at @southbostonmomsclub if you don't already.
5. Join a playgroup! If you're not familiar with our playgroups, they are designed for parents with babies of similar ages to connect, share resources, and build friendships. Go to southbostonmomsclub.org/groups to join. You should only join one group per child. If you're pregnant, join based on due date, otherwise join based on your child's birthday. Email playgroups@southbostonmomsclub.org if you have any questions or need help.
6. Check out our Community and Calendar pages to see recurring events in the area, or upcoming coffees, moms night outs, etc.
Club Policies
Member Policy:
1. Share experiences. Ask questions and share tips about parenting, schools, activities, and family life in SBMC organized/sponsored forums. Focus on what works (or doesn't) for your family.
2. Keep it supportive. Be respectful and kind — differences of opinion are okay when shared thoughtfully. All interactions in the group should be supportive and welcome to everyone.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
3. Playgroups and member meetings/get-togethers. SBMC may introduce or facilitate connections for playgroups or social meetups. Once members organize their own gatherings, the club does not sponsor or oversee them. Members are responsible for their own events.
4. Stay on-topic. Conversations in SBMC forums should center on family and community experiences, resources, and events. Policy, governance, or political debates are not appropriate here, but you can always discuss those topics privately with friends you meet through the club. The SBMC is a non-partisan nonprofit organization.
5. Reporting concerns. Please report anything you think is in violation of these rules to hello@southbostonmomsclub.org or to a Facebook admin if in Facebook.

Volunteer Policy:
We are a 100% volunteer-run club and could not operate without our generous volunteers. Everyone balances involvement with family and personal life, and those always come first. To keep things running smoothly, any volunteers agree to the following:

It’s okay to step back — just let us know if you can’t continue in a role.

If a task or role isn’t the right fit but you still want to help, we’ll help you find something more suitable.

Communicate when you can — even quick updates help us support each other.

Handoff when possible so others can pick up smoothly.
